Beltie Beef – Slow matured, 30 day dry hung flavoursome marbled meat.
The Beef Share will be 21-23kg (an average beltie carcass is approx 280-300kg of which there will be 55-60% useable cuts) made up of the following (subject to variation according to availability):
- 5kg of Mince
- 3kg of Diced
- 6kg of Joints (a mix of approx five joints including one each of Topside, Top Rump, Silverside and Brisket)
- 3kg of Prime Steaks (including Rump, Sirloin, Ribeye and Fillet)
- 2kg of Slow cooking cuts (chuck steak, shin, skirt etc)
- 1kg of mixed items (including short rib, flat iron steak, Minute steaks)
- 1kg Burgers (if available)
- In addition stock bones and offal cuts can be included at no extra charge if required:

All our beef comes from our own Belted Galloways, matured over three years solely on grass. The beef is certified Pasture for Life and carries a QR code for full traceability. As a breed, Belted Galloways have a thicker (double) coat and so are generally not as fatty as many native breeds and this slow maturing produces an extremely tasty, marbled meat.
Please note that our beef boxes are frozen straight after butchery. If you are interested in ordering your beef fresh rather than frozen, then please contact us.

We got one of the 1/8th cow packages from Carr Farm and it has been amazing. Not only was the customer service world class the meat is out of this world. Given that you get a range of cuts the average price works out broadly speaking the same as the supermarket, but the product is far superior. We won’t now buy beef anywhere else!
