Description

All our beef comes from our own Belted Galloways, matured over three years solely on grass and Pasture for Life Certified. As a breed, Belted Galloways have a thicker (double) coat and so are generally not as fatty as many native breeds and this slow maturing produces an extremely tasty, marbled meat.
Please note that our beef boxes are frozen straight after butchery. If you are interested in ordering your beef fresh rather than frozen, then please contact us.

Best Beef Brisket we have had in a long while – Excellent

  2. Di Ryder

Wow!! Your little Belties have surpassed themselves. I have just cooked the most glorious pot roast. Needless to say one of the brisket joints, I have to say the flavour and texture of the beef was second to none. This I am convinced is down to your rearing of the Belties and not my cooking lol. Nothing but praise from the family and I felt you deserved to be congratulated. The rest of the joint is now going to be turned into my Grandmothers recipe of Rissoles with carrot onion and pearl barley and a good old standby of cottage pie, (traditional method of mincing the cold roast beef and combining again with minced carrot and onion and all that lovely gravy from the pot roast. As you can tell i am in seventh heaven which is not bad for someone who was vegetarian!

  3. Mrs Stephens

Just to say your beltie beef has done you proud. The Brisket was so tender and succulent and the flavour was brilliant!

  4. Mrs Peaten

Wow! Beautiful flavour, so tender and minimum shrinkage when very slow cooked as a traditional pot roast. It carved well hot or cold and the last piece will be going through the mincer for a proper cottage pie.
